Long long back …. to be precise, in 2006 …. having spent 4 to 6 years teaching at Career Launcher, three of us – Chandra, Massey & Ankur – decided to venture out on our own …. to offer a less commercial and more personal CAT-prep help.

And so started Takshzila with a very rigorous & gruelling class schedule of all 6 days a week …. in a very homely environment where students could sit and study the entire day. We did not take long to gather a reputation of a no-nonsense, back-to-the-basics kind of tutors, who care for the students enjoying the learning process, understanding the concepts, giving their best, more than just the results.

Inside the classroom, we were amongst the best in India. And we brought the same expertise & details to our videos … a very captivating narrative across videos, emphasis on explaining ideas/concepts in a manner that a child should understand it and a comprehensiveness not existing in videos till then. Students have been ‘addicted’ to our videos … not just students, there are quite a few faculty members across India who would use our videos to improve their teaching pedagogy. When entire course got ready as a video course … and it took us 3 to 4 years to get them ready … in end-2019, we started a comprehensive paid online course for CAT coaching.

In 2013 the team split …. Chandra, Massey & Nishant continued with the existing Takshzila center at Pune; and Ankur independently chased his dreamchild, Takshzila Shikshak, a youtube channel he managed. But what did not waiver was our commitment to the student’s personal development and inspiring them to work super hard and excel.
